After several months of confinement despite ourselves, we are very happy to announce you the reopening of Hotel Place d’Armes as of August 21st. In order to prepare as well as possible, we have implemented a protocol with new security measures to ensure a return in the best conditions. As always, our priority will be the safety and health of all our guests, our teams and our partners.
This summer will certainly be a little different from the others, but our team will continue to work hard to make your stay with us an unforgettable one.

New Procedures A new protocol has been implemented within the Hotel Place d'Armes to guarantee a serene and secure stay.
We will pay increased attention to the cleaning and disinfection of rooms and common areas as well as compliance with security measures throughout the establishment. Our staff has received special training and is ready to host you.

Social Distancing
A 2-meter distance is recommended between customers and staff throughout the establishment. To help you, you will find several posters and road signs to direct you safely within the hotel.

Increased Cleaning & Disinfection
The common areas will be cleaned several times a day with particular attention to the objects most often affected (door handles, elevator buttons, thermostat, switch, remote control and others).

Wearing the mask
Since July 18, wearing a mask is mandatory in closed public places.
It will be required that customers wear a mask upon arrival and at all times while walking through the hotel and common living areas.

Our Employees
All hotel employees have been trained to reopen and implement these new protocols. Training will continue to take place on a very regular basis. In addition, their state of health will be checked daily and if there is any doubt, the employee will be asked to stay at home.
All our employees are trained and comply with health protocols.

Medical Assistance
We can at any time, if you feel the need, call a doctor and have him brought to the hotel for an examination.

Enhanced security
Security walls have been installed at the reception to ensure a safe and secure arrival and departure.

Disinfection Stations Installed
We have put several disinfection stations at your disposal throughout the establishment; do not hesitate to use them regularly.

Room Cards Disinfection
The cards to access the rooms will be cleaned and disinfected between each client and upon check-in.

Bedding & Room Cleaning
The sheets will be changed and washed at high temperature for optimal disinfection. Please note that in order to minimize contact, daily room cleaning service during stays will be upon request.

Fitness Room
Our gym will reopen very soon. Specific health measures will be put in place to respect social distancing and ensure the safety of all.

Payment
Where possible, we encourage contactless payments (credit, debit and gift cards).
Please note that the maximum amount for contactless payments is $250 CAD.

Flexible Cancellation Policy
We know that this period makes it complicated to plan ahead, especially if you wish to plan a trip weeks in advance. That’s why we’ve revised our cancellation policy and made it more flexible to meet your needs.

Restaurant & Rooftop Terraces
The Brasserie 701 and Kyo Bar Japonais restaurants and the rooftop terrace, Terrasse Place d’Armes are reopened and have been refurbished to promote social distancing between customers.

Food & Beverage
We have strengthened health protocols at the service level. Our service personnel will comply with the required health protocols (such as hand washing on a regular basis, wearing a mask, eye protection).
In terms of room service, food will be individually wrapped if desired and the order will be placed outside the door. For regular service, the dishes will be sealed off.

Minibar
The minibar in each room has been fully emptied and disinfected and will be between each client.
